Please note that while we are hoping that the workshop will be hosted in Budapest as planned, we are also establishing additional digital formats to allow remote participation (or to switch the meeting to a fully online format, if necessary). In the registration form you will have the possibility to select between physical and virtual participation. We also strongly recommend the participants to check the latest measures and possible travel restrictions on entering Hungary from their home country.

You can find a tool with frequently updated information to plan your travel while staying healthy and safe on the EU website: https://reopen.europa.eu/en/

The workshop will be kindly hosted  by Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest, 8-9 October 2020, and will focus on the challenges of University PR & Communication throughout the COVID-19 crisis, as well as the lessons learned for the future:

  • Fake news and false science: vaccine still missing. HE communication strategies to cope with the ‘post-truth’ era
  • Webinars, MOOCs, online platforms & tools: engaging students in distance learning
  • University branding and advertising to support the recruitment of international students in the (post) COVID-19 era
