Every year, the Caroline von Humboldt Award recognises an excellent female postdoc researcher and offers research project funding as well as a two-month period at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Scientist in Residence). Inaugurated in 2010, it is the first research prize awarded by the University exclusively to female scientists and it is one of the highest awards of its kind in Germany (€15.000).
Candidates must be nominated by professors of universities or external research institutes. Direct applications will not be accepted. All nominations shall be prepared in English or German and sent electronically no later than on 20 July 2018.

Scientific vitae
Professional qualifications
List of publications
Teaching achievements
Project description (maximum of 5 pages)
Abstract of project (maximum of 400 words)
Indication of and hosting agreement by the chair or working group of the planned research stay (Scientist in Residence programme)
All nominations should be sent in electronic format and in English or German no later than by 20 July 2018.
