The Workshop on “The Future of Work/Workers and Impact on Universities” is an initiative spearheaded by the UNICA & the City SDGs Working Group. Set to take place at University College Dublin on May 23-24, 2024, this event aims to engage UNICA member universities in a critical discourse on how the evolving landscape of work, driven by advancements in artificial intelligence, will shape the future of academia and the workforce.

Key stakeholders from academia, industry, and government will convene to explore the profound implications of AI on work and workers’ lives, particularly within the context of higher education. Through interactive sessions, participants will share experiences, insights, and strategies to equip universities in preparing graduates for the AI-fuelled era.
