Ankara University concludes centennial celebrations of the Turkish Republic with a special commemorative publication

The University of Ankara launched a special publication with the highlights of its celebrations of the 100 years of the foundation of the Turkish Republic. The university celebrated the centenary throughout the year 2023 with 100 events across different areas, including health, law, economy, sports, culture, and politics.

One of the highlights was the 618th meeting of the Senate of Ankara University in the building of the 2nd Turkish Grand National Assembly, which serves today as the Republic’s Museum. Celebrations also included a torch lighting procession with around ten thousand people from the academic community, the award ceremony “The 100s of Sports”, and a mail art exhibition.
