NOVA University announces new campus in Cairo, Egypt

Portuguese UNICA member, NOVA University Lisbon, will soon have the first university campus outside national territory. Located in Cairo, Egypt, NOVA Cairo should go into full operation starting September 2022, with degrees in the areas of Management, Engineering and Data Science.
The project is part of the University’s internationalization strategy for the affirmation of NOVA in the world.
The agreement for the establishment of NOVA Cairo was signed on October 26, 2021, in Cairo, by the Rector of NOVA, Professor João Sàágua and the President of The Knowledge Hub Universities, Professor Mahmoud Allam.
The signing ceremony was attended and witnessed by Ambassador Manuela Franco, Portuguese Ambassador to Egypt, the Vice-Rector of NOVA, Professor João Amaro de Matos, along with senior representatives from NOVA University Lisbon.
