MSCA: Research Talent is Europe’s Strategic Advantage

17 European research organisations have issued a joint statement calling European leaders for the preservation and the reinforcement of the working model of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)

As negotiations advance on the next Horizon Europe – FP10 and Multiannual Financial Framework
(MFF), the organisations are again insisting on the preservation of the bottom-up structure of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).

The organisations defend that, if there is a need to develop targeted research, training and mobility actions addressing predefined strategic priorities, these shall be pursued through dedicated instruments under Pillar II of FP10, or other programmes. This would allow Europe to strengthen its capacity to address strategic priorities without redefining MSCA.
