UNICA publishes report of its webinar “Universities responding to forced displacement”

On 25 November 2020, the UNICA working group “UNICA & the City” hosted the webinar “Universities responding to forced displacement”, promoted by the University College of Dublin.
At the event, experts of UNICA members (University College of Dublin, University of Athens, Vrije Universiteit Brussels, University of Oslo, Freie Universität Berlin) shared good practices and experiences about the welcome and integration of displaced students and academic staff; as well as recommendations on how universities can take an active role in the integration of migrants.
The report summarising the lessons learned is now out and analyses briefly the topics addressed by the speakers.
