UNICA Libraries

UNICA Libraries is the cluster dedicated to the evolution of the role of scholarly communication in educational processes and academic research and in the changing technological environment. Activities within this cluster constitute a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives among university libraries.

By fostering collaboration across the UNICA network, the cluster contributes to strengthening the role of libraries as strategic partners in the education and research missions of universities.

UNICA Libraries continues the work of the Scholarly Communication Group, established in 2001, which served as a think tank for Heads of Libraries and Senior Librarians to reflect on the evolution of the role of university libraries in educational processes and academic research. Today, UNICA Libraries builds on this foundation by continuing the promoting collaboration and the exchange of expertise among university libraries, while also strengthening cross-sectoral cooperation with other UNICA clusters.
