CALL FOR EXPERTS: CALOHEx project is looking for universities to develop conceptual frameworks to measure learning outcomes

The project Measuring and Comparing Achievements of Learning Outcomes in Higher Education Extension (CALOHEx) is looking for experts for the subject area groups to develop conceptual frameworks that can set direction for programmes offered in the academic field. Experts’ involvement will be from October 2021 until September 2023.
The consortium seeks to find experts for the vacant positions and reach full membership of the subject area groups soon, this will be key in (re)starting the project after the interruption posed by the pandemic.
The following subject area groups have vacant positions:
- Information Engineering/ICT: 5 HEIs (from Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, Turkey or Serbia)
- International Relations: 1 HEI (from Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, Turkey or Serbia)
- Medicine: 4 HEIs (from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, Turkey or Serbia)
- Business Administration: 12 HEIs (from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, Turkey or Serbia)

Do students enrolled in higher education around Europe develop the competences they need?
Are study programmes delivering their promises?
Can we learn to compare student’s achievements in different countries in a meaningful way?
An extension of CALOHEE I, the project intends to develop an infrastructure (Qualifications Reference Frameworks and Assessment Reference Frameworks) that will eventually make it possible to test bachelor and master students’ performance Europe-wide across five academic fields in a way that satisfies the needs of the various stakeholders in the European higher education community. Those five fields are: Business Administration, Information Engineering/ICT, International Relations, Medicine and Performing and Fine Arts.
