UNICA Rectors’ Panel “UK and Switzerland and the European programmes”, Cardiff University, 10 April 2024
On the morning of the 10th of April 2024, Cardiff University hosted the UNICA Rectors’ Panel “UK and Switzerland and the European programmes”. The event preceded the EUA annual Conference 2024, which takes place at Swansea University on 11-12 April 2024
The event brought together representatives from the Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF, Cardiff University, and the University of Lausanne – UNIL for a session on the future of collaboration in scientific endeavors across Europe. Speakers underscored the significance of collaboration between local funding agencies and Europe-wide initiatives, emphasized universities’ pivotal role in regional innovation ecosystems, and addressed the evolving dynamics of international partnerships within a changing geopolitical context.
