Take the EUA survey on greening in higher education institutions – deadline extended!

Higher education institutions are important actors in the transition towards carbon neutrality and sustainable societies and economies. They are well placed to play a key role in achieving the objectives of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Agenda 2030, as well as the Green Deal initiative of the European Union.
To make the sector’s contribution more visible and accessible, the European University Association has launched an initiative on greening in higher education institutions. Institutions are invited to contribute to an initial survey by sharing their approaches and activities in the field of greening. The findings will be featured in a range of EUA online events and articles during the EU’s Green Week 2021 (31 May – 4 June).
The online questionnaire is open to all higher education institutions in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and in the EU partner countries in the Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood (former Tempus countries) from 17 March to 3 May 2021. Only one response per higher education institution should be submitted, preferably by a person with a leadership responsibility for greening activities at the institution.
