UNICA attends Advisory Board meeting of Erasmus+ projects CALOHEE 2 and CALOHEx

On the 14th of December, UNICA attended the Advisory Board meeting of Erasmus+ Forward Looking projects CALOHEE Phase 2 and CALOHEE Extension. The Advisory Board meeting happened in the framework of a three-day meeting of the Management Committee (MC) of the CALOHEE Phase 2 project, allowing for exchanges and dialogue between the Advisory Board members, the Quality Assurance Board members, on the one hand, and the CALOHEE Phase 2 MC members, on the other.

Though the projects only took off in the final months of 2021 due to the pandemic, the partners were able to organize two face-to-face meetings of the CALOHEE Extension project for all five subject area groups: Business Administration, Creative and Performing Arts and Design, Information and Communication Technology, International Relations, and Medicine. The five areas have developed initial Qualifications Reference Frameworks for their Subject Area for the first and second cycles and some of the groups also work on a Qualifications Reference Framework for the short cycle / associated degree and/or the third cycle, the doctorate.

From April to September 2022 three three-day face-to-face meetings have taken place in the CALOHEE Phase 2 project. The main purpose of the project was to compare the Qualifications Reference Frameworks, developed as part of the first phase (2016-2018) with degree programmes as currently offered by universities. Furthermore, the groups have worked – according to plan – on the preparation of transnational assessments focusing on high level competences, considering the specificities of the discipline (Civil Engineering, History, Nursing, Physics, and Teacher Education).
