UNICA welcomes University of Montenegro and Baku State University and grows to 55 universities in 42 European capitals

UNICA is happy to welcome to the network the University of Montenegro and Baku State University! The leaders of UNICA members universities approved the UNICA membership applications of the two institutions during the General Assembly, which took place on the 27th of June 2024, at Stockholm University.
The two new universities bring the total number of members to 55. This addition places two new capital cities, Podgorica in Montenegro and Baku in Azerbaijan, on the UNICA map.
Furthermore, UNICA also has members in one more European University, as the University of Montenegro is part of Ulysseus European University. This means 40 out of the 55 UNICA member Universities now take part in European Universities Alliances. In other terms, 22 out of the 64 existing alliances have at least one UNICA member University as a partner.
