Story highlights:
– Survey is one of MP4s project activities;
– Addressed to those implementing mindfulness practices in higher education
Partners in Erasmus+ funded project “Mindfulness Practices for Students in Society” (MP4s) are conducting a survey to identify what is currently being offered in terms of Mindfulness practices within the Higher Education sector in Europe. The survey is one of the project’s activities that will allow to draw a broad picture of universities’ approach to mindfulness in Europe.
The survey explores the topic in detail, including the types and strategies of interventions, tools and materials used, experience of facilitators, funding, and the impact and evaluation schemes.
Learnings from the results of the survey will feed into the development of other project activities and objectives. These include, among others, the creation of a “Mindfulness Toolbox for Faculties and Students” and the elaboration of a SIT4PLANET, a generic syllabus that enables university stakeholders to embed mindfulness practices in any course and campus activities. Another planned activity is the preparation of a set of recommendations for higher education institutions to promote the inclusion of mindfulness practices in curricula, which will be led by UNICA.
Who can participate?
The survey is addressed to those facilitating or implementing Mindfulness programmes, courses or other interventions within the Higher Education sector.
