UNICA-MED

The aftermath of the Arab Spring and the ongoing migration crisis brought the attention of European universities to the Southern Mediterranean.

Founded in 2012, the UNICA-MED Group aims to serve as a platform for constructive dialogue between European and Southern Mediterranean Universities, to strengthen academic partnerships in the region, and to develop new policies and strategies for internationalisation and modernisation of university research, education and administration in the Southern Mediterranean area.
