An informal UNICA-MED meeting on the occasion of the 3rd Arab-Euro Conference on Higher Education (AECHE 3): Opportunities and Challenges for Arab and European universities in fulfilling their societal mission (University of Barcelona, 25-27 May 2016) was be held on Wednesday 25 May 2016 (15:00-18:00) and was be chaired by the UNICA President Prof. Luciano Saso, Chair of the UNICA-MED Working Group.
The 3rd AECHE Conference brought together more than 200 participants, including the representatives of university networks committed to fostering the dialogue and cooperation between the Arab and European universities.
During the meeting’s closing ceremony, the 4th edition of the Conference was announced to be held in April 2017 in the Mohammed V University of Rabat, and the main focus to be analysed will be cooperation in research of strategy areas.
