Deadline extended: 5th Global Survey on Internationalization of Higher Education - reply by 31 July!

The International Association of Universities (IAU), a global Higher Education membership-based organisation that UNICA is a member organisation of, is currently conducting its 5th Global Survey on Internationalization of Higher EducationThe survey will remain open until 31 July 2018.


Set up in 1950 under the auspices of UNESCO, the International Association of Universities (IAU) currently brings together more than 650 universities and organisations.

Each IAU Global Survey provides a unique data analysis of global and regional trends and developments in the field of international higher education and related policy-making. The IAU Global Surveys have become an invaluable resource for those interested in internationalization of higher education.

IAU 5th Global Survey benefits from the support of Agence Universitaire pour la Francophonie (AUF), Académie de Recherche et d’Enseignement Supérieur (ARES), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), NAFSA: Association of International Educators and UNESCO.

Please note that several academic senior leaders in an institution may receive the survey.  However, only one answer per institution is needed. We therefore invite you to consult with your colleagues to gather the necessary information before filling in the online questionnaire.

The survey will remain open until 31 July 2018.

Respondents will be able to attend a free-of-charge a webinar on the results of the survey.
