EuNIT "European project desigN and management In the South MediTerranean region" kicks off in Marseille, 30-31 January 2017

The Kick-Off Meeting for the ERASMUS + Capacity Building in Higher Education project EuNIT "European project desigN and management In the South MediTerranean region" will take place on 30-31 January 2017 at the Villa Valmer in Marseilles, France.

 

The project is funded by the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union under KA2: Capacity building in higher education for a 3-year period (0ctober 2016-October 2019). It aims to support the Internationalisation of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the South Mediterranean Region focusing on Jordan, Lebanon and Libya.

 

The project is coordinated by the Euro-Mediterranean Universities Network TETHYS, Aix-Marseille University and UNICA is the project's associate partner.

 

The Kick-Off meeting will open with speeches by Mr. Jean Roatta, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Relations and Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation, Ville de Marseille, Mrs Sylvie Daviet, Vice-President in charge of International Relations, Aix-Marseille University and Mr. Michel Autric, President of the Euro-Mediterranean Universities Network TETHYS, Aix-Marseille University.

 

On this occasion, the partnership of 22 universities and associations from 7 Mediterranean countries (Croatia, France, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Spain) will discuss the implementation of the project activities aimed at enhancing the capacity of university asministrative staff in developing and managing European projects.
