SocialErasmus+ : Volunteering on Exchange Toolkit

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organisation. It is the biggest student association in Europe. Present at over 1000 Higher Education Institutions, it unites over 520 local associations in 41 countries. More than 15,000 volunteers take care of international colleagues under the motto “Students helping students”.

In the framework of SocialErasmus+ (Erasmus+ programme - K3 Forward Looking Cooperation project) the  ESN and the other project's partners have developed a Volunteering on Exchange Toolkit which offers a variety of materials to implement volunteering actions and foster active citizenship and engagement by international students during mobility. The toolkit aims at supporting Universities, local ESN organisations and schools to implement the project adapted to their local context and academic framework.

SocialErasmus+ aims at building bridges in society by bringing international students closer to local schools and connecting them with local communities in order to ensure a better integration of exchange students in local societies, spread intercultural awareness and acceptance to students from a younger age, increase the recognition of voluntary activities in Higher Education.
