Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is looking for partners for the submission of a project proposal under the ERASMUS + call on European Universities

Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is the leading academic institution in Bulgaria. It is a comprehensive university and has 16 faculties and 3 departments, where over 21,000 students receive their education. The University has been consistently ranked as the top university in Bulgaria according to national and international rankings, being constantly among the best four percent of world universities according to QS World University Rankings.

As an outcome of the cooperation with UNICA and the Black Sea Universities Network, Sofia University is in the process of developing a project proposal for the ERASMUS + call on European Universities.

The aim of the project proposal is the development of new joint and flexible curricula based on cross-disciplinary/multi-disciplinary and cross-sectorial approaches; facilitating extended mobility of students and staff to study, train, teach, do research, work, or share services within the project member universities; promotion of new models of knowledge-creating teams of students and academics, together with researchers, businesses, regional actors and civil society actors to address effective problems of target regions. The fields of interest are Eastern European studies, social cohesion, digital humanities, nanotechnologies and nanosafety, advanced materials and sustainable development.
