Students from Poland and Brazil organise Emerging Markets Business Summit:

 Emerging Markets Business Summit (EMBS) is a project organized by students of Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) - Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo, Brazil.

 
The project's objective is to create durable ties within the academic and business domain between the partners, participants, and universities taking part in the project, all of whom come from two dynamically growing economies of Brazil and Poland. The project will give a unique opportunity to its participants to understand the economy and politics of the two countries, as well as to meet, network, and establish grounds for future cooperation between the project’s participants and partners.
 
EMBS constists of two, 13-day-long study visits: visit of Polish delegates in Brazil (30.03-12.04.2012) and alike visit of Brazilian delegates in Poland (03.07-15.07.2012). During each of them, the delegates will participate in meetings and debates with influencial representatives of business and politics sphere of the host country, as well as attend lectures led by outstanding researchers, company visits, and workshops organized by prominent international companies. Thanks to this part of the agenda, participants will be able to understand economic challenges, business strategies, and potential barriers of further growth met by entrepreneurs in both countries.

The Students' Union of Warsaw School fo Economics is the biggest student organization in Warsaw School of Economics. Every year it cooperates with over 150 students of various majors and years of studies. The Student's Union organizes several dozens of projects annualy, which are co-financed from external sources. Among the students' latest projects was was Chinese-Polish Partnership for Development, initiative aimed at establishing academic and business cooperation between Poland and China, organized jointly with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
 
University of FGV (Fundacao Getulio Vargas) from São Paulo is a leading business school in South America. FGV is a member of the prestigious CEMS – Global Alliance in Management Education, as well as was the only University in Brazil to earn triple accredation (AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA). FGV students have vast experience in managing international projects, in which they have cooperated with leading European business schools, such as St. Gallen University (Switzerland) and Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden).
 
The students seek partners to help them shape this interesting initiative.
