University of Oslo’s annual call for application for participating in the Erasmus/LLP Staff Training Week (EST) in Oslo, 17 - 21 May 2010

Attention : if a high number of applicants - will accept a maximum of two participants from each partner university. Staff from International Offices and international coordinators at faculty/department level will be given priority.

Please note that the programme is highly interactive. All participants are expected to take active part in the seminars and workshops during the week and to prepare one presentation about a field of interest within the area of internationalisation / international affairs.

 

Early application deadline : March 15.

 

How to apply :
If you are interested in participating in the UiO Erasmus Staff Training Week, please complete this online application form by March 15 : https://nettskjema.uio.no/answer.html?fid=43388&lang=en

 

Registration form functions both as an application form and - for admitted participants - also as a work plan. Before you submit the application form electronically, please make a print out in order to get it signed by your Institutional Erasmus/LLP Coordinator. Bring the form/work plan along to Oslo where you will get it duly signed.

 

The number of participants is limited to 15. If more than 15 persons apply, we will make a selection on the basis of interest, background, home institution and home country. In case of a selection process, we will let you know the results shortly after the application deadline.

 

Accommodation :
The University of Oslo has reserved hotel rooms at the Thon Hotel Ullevaal Stadion in walking distance from the university (NOK 1.155 a night incl. breakfast) for the participants from 16. - 21. May. Booking information will be provided for admitted participants shortly after the application deadline. Participants may book other accommodation if they please, but please note that most hotels already are fully booked during that week due to Norway's Constitution Day and the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

 

Funding :
Please note that all participants are responsible for covering their own accommodation, travel and most meals during the UiO EST Week.
However,for partners from EU member states, Erasmus funding for participating in this programme might be available through their home institution. Please contact your Institutional Erasmus Coordinator.
