Single-cycle degree course in Pharmacy, founded by the School of Medicine and the School of Science at University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, in partnership with the prestigious School of Pharmacy of the University of Nottingham and Alliance Boots, is held entirely in English. It is highly interdisciplinary, as it involves professors and experts who operate in different sectors ranging from Chemistry to Medicine, Economics, Law as well as all subjects of the traditional Pharmacy course.
It started in 2008-2009 Academic Year and is characterized by a limited number of students to allow a better interaction between students and professors. The first cohort of students will graduate this year.
The collaboration with the University of Nottingham and Alliance Boots offer the students an opportunity for mobility, joint research projects, integration of different cultures and traditions. In addition to the opportunity frameworks offered by Erasmus and Erasmus Mundus programs, University of Rome “Tor Vergata” is looking for partners which have a degree course in Pharmacy in order to start a collaboration in the Erasmus field.
