Established in 1995, the International Relations Officers (IRO) Group brings together Heads and Senior Officers of International Relations Offices from UNICA Member Universities to share information and innovative approaches to internationalisation at universities: implementation of internationalisation strategies, quality assurance of international partnerships, management of international projects and mobility schemes, and development of internationalisation support mechanisms. The Group meets every year at the annual UNICA IRO meeting and the informal meeting held at the EAIE Annual Conference.
The annual IRO meetings and other activities of the IRO Group are open to Heads of International Relations, International Relations, International Partnerships & Mobility Officers, and Erasmus Coordinators from UNICA Member Universities.
