The UNICA General Assembly is an exclusive event for UNICA member universities.
The UNICA General Assembly & Rectors’ Seminar 2025, which will also mark the 35th anniversary of the foundation of the UNICA network, will be hosted by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), 18-20 June 2025.
The UNICA Rectors’ Seminar in the framework of the General Assembly will take place on 20 June and will focus this year on “The key role of the Humanities in our universities”.

Participants are kindly invited to confirm their participation by filling out the relevant form below at their earliest convenience and no later than 6 June 2025 for onsite participation and by 13 June for online attendance of the General Assembly.

Transportation to and from the airport
The Athens international airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (www.aia.gr) is located 27 km southeastern of Athens and is accessible via Attiki Odos, a motorway that constitutes the Athens City Ring Road.

Every 36 minutes from the Airport to the centre of Athens (Syntagma Station, from 6.10 am to 23.34 pm) and from Athens (Syntagma Station) to the Airport (from 5.53 am to 23.18 pm). The duration is approximately 42 minutes and the ticket costs 9€ (Athens airport one way) and 16€ (Athens airport with return).
By Bus (24-hour service) www.oasa.gr
The buses depart from the designated area on the inner curbside of the arrivals level of the Main Building of the Airport to the centre of Athens (Syntagma Square). The buses from the centre of Athens to Airport depart from Syntagma Square (Othonos Str. at Syntagma Square).
The bus line is X95 (Syntagma Square-Airport Express) via Attiki Odos, Messogion and Vas. Sofias Avenue. The duration is approximately 60 minutes and the ticket costs 5.5€.
